Especially the one about emails. Here’s exactly what we will and won’t find for you.

What counts as a scan?: One scan is one repo scan or refresh. It returns a full profile for every stargazer (name, company, role, location, and socials) and surfaces a public email for the people who have one. The number on each plan is how many of those scans you get per month.
Do you find an email for everyone?: No, and we will not pretend otherwise. An email shows up only when that person has published one, on their GitHub profile or in their public commits, which is typically 30 to 50 percent of a repo’s stargazers. Everyone else is still scanned into a full named profile with company, role, and socials; their email simply stays private.
Where do the emails come from?: Public data only. We read what a developer has already chosen to make public on GitHub. We never guess an address, never identify a person by display name alone, and never buy lists.
Can people opt out?: Yes. A built-in do-not-contact suppression list is honored at every source, matched by email and by GitHub login. Anyone can remove themselves at any time, and once they do they stay out of every future scan.
What is the difference between the Free plan and a paid plan?: Free gives you the full scan engine and lets you view every lead in-app, same data, no card needed. Paid plans add export (CSV, JSON, and a ready-to-send email list), saved leads, higher per-repo limits, and faster scan-queue priority.
Do unused scans roll over?: No. Quotas reset at the start of each billing cycle. You can switch plans or cancel any time from the customer portal, and a change takes effect on your next cycle.
